About The Tiger Pregame Show (ROAR)
The Tiger Pregame Show, a game day tradition for Clemson football fans on Saturdays since 2003, has kicked off programming for The Roar on game days for 20 years!
The Tiger Pregame Show paints the picture of game day for Clemson and sets the stage on all the information a Clemson fan needs prior to kickoff. In depth analysis, commentary, and predictions always point Tiger fans to the key things that they need to look for during the game. Coach and player interviews allow fans to get inside the head of those that will be on the field, offering an exclusive opportunity to get to know those behind the clipboards and helmets.
Scott Rhymer, host since the show’s beginning in 2003, is a lifelong Clemson fan and comes from a Clemson family. Scott’s father, brother, and sister all join him in being a graduate of Clemson University and Scott currently has a daughter attending Clemson in pursuit of her degree.
William Qualkinbush, or “Qualk”, has been broadcasting on WCCP since June 2011, when he got his start co-hosting and producing the Mickey Plyler Show and hosting his own show, Qualk Talk, on Saturday mornings from 10 AM- 12N. He took over the reins of Out of Bounds as the show’s full-time host in February 2014. Qualk also serves as the play-by-play voice for Clemson baseball and Clemson women’s basketball as well as the High School Football Game of the Week on The Roar. Qualk has experience as a public address announcer for the Clemson baseball team as well as Clemson volleyball, women’s basketball, track and field, men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s tennis.
