4-Star forward Dallas Thomas has committed to Clemson.

By Johnny Falduto

The 6-7, 170 forward out of Parkview Magnet High School in Little Rock, Arkansas is the No. 13 power forward and No. 66 overall player in the ‘24 class, according to 247Sports. He chose the Tigers over Memphis, Arkansas, LSU and Missouri to become the first commit of head coach Brad Brownell’s 2024 class.

Thomas fits the prototype of modern-day wings with a long frame and the ability to create his own shot and score at all three levels. His length, paired with his lateral quickness and overall athleticism, has proven to make him a disruptive defender up and down the floor against positions 1-4.

One analyst on NBADraftRoom.com noted that Thomas “will have to add a lot of strength but the upside is tantalizing.”

Thomas averaged nearly a double-double (16.5 PTS, 9.4 REB) and shot 42% from 3-point range as a junior for Parkview Magnet despite battling nagging injuries all season after putting up 14.6 PTS and 6.8 REB as a sophomore.

In February, Thomas told StockRisers.com that Overtime Elite had reached out to him and inquired about opting to go the pro-route as opposed to playing college basketball. Ultimately, he chose the college route, and Clemson over a pool of 11 offers.

Thomas is Brad Brownell’s highest-rated recruit since PJ Hall in 2020 and will have the chance to make an immediate impact as soon as he gets to campus next year.
